The successful first-in-human implantation of Paradromics' Connexus® brain-computer interface marks a significant step toward restoring communication for people living with severe neurological conditions.

Paradromics, an IWC portfolio company and pioneer in brain-computer interface technology, announced the successful implantation of its Connexus® Brain-Computer Interface in the first participant of its FDA-approved Connect-One clinical study. The procedure marks Paradromics' first successful human implantation and the beginning of clinical evaluation for a technology designed to decode neural activity associated with speech and communication.
