His career began in the early 1990s leading research teams across various countries for prominent global institutions. Recognised for his expertise, he consistently ranked highly in surveys like AsiaMoney and Institutional Investor.
Lawrence then transitioned his expertise to managing the diverse global assets of a UHNW Singaporean family as their Investment Director and Chief Investment Officer for 14 years. His prudent approach balanced a multi-asset portfolio encompassing public and private markets, along with direct investments, delivering consistent returns.
Lawrence believes in contributing beyond the financial realm. He serves as a Board Advisor to a local Catholic charity organisation, having previously led as Chairman (2014-2023). This dedication extends beyond finance, reflecting his commitment to social impact.
