Mark WANG

Mark Wang is an experienced advisor in wealth management and healthcare venture investments. He currently serves as CEO of Jewelake Management. Prior to this role, he founded Pureland Global Venture, a globally diversified MedTech investment fund. At Pureland, Mark led the family office’s direct investment portfolio and successfully completed numerous investments in potentially disruptive healthcare technologies. He also gained institutional investing experience during his time at one of the world’s largest private equity firms. Mark brings deep domain expertise in scaling growth-stage medical device companies across the full value chain—from manufacturing through commercialization—in markets across Asia, North America, and Europe.

Mark has spent several years managing family office portfolios and advising high-net-worth families on long-term wealth planning. His work spans generation planning strategies, trust structuring, and intergenerational wealth transfer. He collaborates closely with legal, tax, and investment professionals to design bespoke structures aligned with each family's unique needs.

Earlier in his career, Mark worked in assurance at PwC in Canada and the U.S., focusing on asset management and healthcare. He advised many of the largest hospital systems in North America before transitioning into deal advisory, where he supported a broad range of M&A transactions valued up to USD 2 billion for both corporate and private equity buyers.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Canada. He also completed the Executive Program in Strategy for Healthcare Delivery at Harvard Business School.

Outside of his professional work, Mark is passionate about cooking, classical music, animal protection, and philanthropy.
