Melvin CHAN

Melvin’s career spans multiple industries, including financial services, asset management, events operations and marketing, and information technology. He began as a protégé of Great Eastern Life’s Managing Director of Operations and the Managing Director of Treasury, gaining deep experience in insurance and financial services. Melvin then established his own events company, pioneering the corporate social responsibility and sustainability movement and connecting thousands of professionals globally by integrating technology, environment and community impact.

Committed to sustainable development, Melvin launched the Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards event. This initiative has grown into Asia’s longest-running event of its kind, attracting over 500 prestigious corporations.

Melvin has also served as Business Development Director of an established IT cloud services company, overseeing operations, solutioning and sales. He established Sustainable Technology Centre Limited, a non-profit dedicated to promoting the adoption of sustainable technologies and practices in the region.

Melvin’s extensive network of researchers, impact investors, venture capitalists and private equity professionals, along with his financial services experience, will be key in aligning with the requirements and opportunities of the impact investment sector.
